If you are interested in Horses then Saumur is the perfect place for you! Visit the Cadre Noir, the horse museum, the National Stud at Lions D'Angers etc.. There are numerous 3-day events, showjumping and dressage competitions in the area. Horseriding in the forests and lessons are available at an Equestrian centre nearby who speak fluent English!, they cater for the most experienced competition rider to the complete beginner.
