TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RENTALS :
Our Gites are available for rent subject to the following - a reservation made with usis deemed to have accepted the terms below:
* At the time of reservation we ask for a deposit for HALF of the rate for your stay, we allow two weeks for the payment of this deposit - if not received then your reservation is cancelled.
* Payment can be paid by credit card using the secure server of www.paypal.com you will need to follow the instructions and make payment to our e-mail address samantha@laprairie-loire.com Alternatively a Bank transfer payment is acceptable. If making the payment via www.paypal.com then we ask you to add the 4.5% paypal charges to the amount.
* The remaining monies due are payable EIGHT WEEKS before the date of arrival at the Gite - this can again be paid via Paypal or Bank transfer.
* At the time of arrival we shall show you the accommodation and will ask for a damage/cleaning deposit - Gite Roseraie : 600 euros or £450 (cash) Gite Lavande : 400 euros or £300 (cash) Gite Glycine : 250 euros or £175 (cash)
The Gite/cottage must be left in the same state of cleanliness as you found it on arrival, alternatively we can arrange cleaning for you at the following rates : Gite Roseraie : 90 euros for final cleaning or mid-week cleaning if required Gite Lavande : 50 euros for final cleaning or mid-week cleaning if required Gite Glycine : 30 euros for final cleaning or mid-week cleaning if required.
When you leave the property the Gite will be checked with you, by us for any breakages and if necessary the cleaning charges and/or breakage costs will be deducted from your damage deposit.
In the event that you need to cancel your reservation after paying the initial deposit - we shall try to re-book the accommodation. If we are unable to re-book then the deposit remains non-refundable. If we are able to re-book we shall return your deposit less a 5% administrative charge. We strongly recommend the taking out of Holiday Insurance to cover for any eventualities.
In the unfortunate event that we have to cancel your reservation, we shall try to find you alternative accommodation at the same rate or we shall refund yourmonies paid. Our fees due to you will be no more than that which you have already paid.
* Rental commences at 4.30pm on the day of arrival and finishes at 10.30 am on the day of departure.
* We do have off-road parking available for vehicles - however we cannot accept anyresponsibilityfor any personal accident or injury to yourselves,guests or belongings in any form whatsover.
* Use of the swimming pool and lake are at your own risk - please ensure that Children under the age of 16 are supervised at all times.
* We do provide a small welcome pack of Wine, Milk, Orange Juice, Tea/Coffee, toilet paper, washing up liquid - just enough to keep you going until you can go to the supermarket.
* When using our Gites please respect the furniture and fittings - we do try our best to provide quality furnishings, but do need your help to keep them in good condition forfuture guests - thank you!!
* If you have any queries or need help for travel arrangements etc... please do ask!
On arrival at the Gite we will take the Electricity reading with you ...and at the end of your stay take the reading again. Any electricity over the 10kw per day for Roseraie, 6kw for Lavande and 4 kw for Glycine will be payable before leaving and will be deducted from your deposit payment.
The Owner shall not be liable to the Client for any temporary defect
or stoppage in the supply of public services to the Property. Nor in
respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the Property or garden, for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the Owner. Nor for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Client, if the Property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such event, the Owner shall within seven days of notification to the Client, refund to the Client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period. Under no circumstances shall the owner’s liability to the Client exceed the amount paid to the Owner for the rental period.
The Owner shall not be liable for accident or injury however sustained
on the premises or gardens or pool areas by the Client or members of their party or guests.
Children and non-swimmers using the pool areas must be supervised at all times.

The Gite must be left in the same state of cleaniiness in which you found it. Alternatively you agree to pay ............... for end of stay cleaning (this will be deducted from your damage deposit) Electricity is payable according to your usage when you are here.
