Directions from Paris by car :
Take the A11 towards LE MANS and ANGERS (and NANTES). When you get near to ANGERS
turn onto the A85 towards SAUMUR and TOURS. Exit the road at SAUMUR (junction 3) and
then turn left onto
the D767 towards VERNANTES, LE MANS and LE LUDE
** Once you arrive at VERNANTES turn left (by the Pelican Hotel/restaurant) and follow
the signs towards ST PHILBERT DU PEUPLE. As you leave the town, you will see a
long wall on the LEFT
- keep going to the end and you will see some large grain silos on the RIGHT.
Just after the grain silos and after the entrance to the Chateau on your left - TURN RIGHT (there is a small LA PRAIRIE sign)
by the small house. (it is literally the 1st road on the RIGHT AFTER the entrance
to the Chateau on your LEFT) - the road is hidden slightly so go slowly after the
entrance to the Chateau!!
Continue down this small lane (under some trees) and we are the next property on the RIGHT -
( the entrance is just before the barn by the Oak trees...
....drive round to the court yard and we will be there to welcome you!!

N : 47.24 "21.0 "
E : 0O.02 "10.4"
If you are staying for 3 nights or less at La Prairie we recommend that perhaps on the way
you could visit Chateau Chambord and Chateau Cheverny - there is so much to see,
by doing this you will make the most of your time in the Loire!
If you do decide to visit these chateaux on the way it will probably be better
for you to take the A10 out of Paris, then exit this road at Junction 17 for
BLOIS. After visiting the two chateaux follow the directions for Tours and SAUMUR
and then take the D767 for VERNANTES and ** above
